Maybe he'll develop but if he doesn't learn to go through all his progressions he'll continue to suffer injuries
I can't argue your point, but he was drafted as a Mobile QB, not a running QB. That's a big difference. I do agree, that a QB should only run from a designed passing play when all progressions have been made and there is no open receiver.
With all the rule changes regarding safety for ball carriers though, I do think it's safer than ever for QBs to run.
