Trubisky has an injured shoulder and can't go, so it'll be Chase Daniel. Big game. They lose it and they'll fall back another game against the Rams and the Saints and put them within range of the Redskins, Panthers, Seahawks, and even the Cowboys.
The thing is this; despite all the bally-hoo about QBs that can make regular big plays with their legs, in the end they have a short shelf life. And they tend to miss a lot of games compared to typical drop back passers.
Not saying that there isn't a positive effect for the offense with a QB that is very mobile. But the list is long with very good mobile QBs who simply can't answer the bell, or have multiple surgeries because they get so beat up. And when they and their teams finally figure out that the running isn't worth it, their performances fall off because that mobility is such an important part of their game.
