On the D, we actually held KC to 37 points. The offense was responsible for 14 of those from turnovers.
Also, the D scored 14 of their own. It was up and down, but I'd say they pulled their weight in this one.
I'm pretty much in agreement on personnel for next year except on Peters. I think he'll be back for sure. I except him to be fine once he goes back to his normal role as the #2 CB when Talib comes back.
I'd still have CB high on my draft priority list. They are too susceptible to injury at a position where Wade needs stellar play.
On Fowler I think his presence is helping the entire D. Is it just me, or is he attracting attention on the edge there and some doubles?
Same thing with Suh. I don't know if he's worth $14M but I think his presence is part of the reason AD is dominating so much more than 2017. I see Suh handling double teams which frees up AD.
Speaking of AD, he needs to be in MVP consideration. I've never seen a D player dominate to this level. If the Rams D weren't so bad, he probably would be discussed...
On Reynolds/Everett/Higbee stepping up... I've quietly suspected for a while now that those three players had a lot more in them but the Rams weren't asking more from them because they have Gurley and the big 3 WRs ahead of them.
Also I've suspected that Goff plays a part in this. He didn't really need to look their way much because the big 4 are so reliable. But with Kupp going down, these guys will show what they can do AND Goff will grow as a QB by getting comfortable with them. End result is, we're gonna be more dangerous as an offense.
Well, I agree with your entire post, dz, except for the rationalization of our points allowed. I concede that some of those points were on the Ram O, but still...
We shouldn’t ignore the obvious which is right under our noses...
Look, we just allowed 51 points to the Chiefs. We’ve allowed 282 points through 11 games, do the math. In the last 4 games Rams have allowed 154 points. That is not a misprint.

Reminds me of the saying, “The operation was a success, but the patient died”. Lol.
Wade has work to do on his D, let’s don’t kid ourselves.
