This isn't an argument about the players, just a fun moment that I had with a friend.
I have a buddy from South Jersey who roots for the eagles. Back when Goff was having a rough rookie season he used to give me crap about how horrible he is. Even when Goff played his only good game that year (at New Orleans) he downplayed it as "against the worst defense in the league". Fast forward to last night when I get a text saying that he would trade Wentz and a first round pick for Goff (which we would decline). He then went on to admit that he was a huge Goff fan during the draft process and called him a young drew Brees lol hes gone from big fan of Goff, to trashing Goff, to an even bigger fan of Goff. I just wanted to share this microcosm of how quickly narratives change in regards to the NFL.
