the NFL is damed if they do and damned if they don't
1) they are idiots because they planned on playing a game on a bad field... But it was obvious they would not allow a game to be played on a field like that and with that kind of damage
2) despite this there was an immediate eruption "Oh my God... I can't believe the NFL will go through with this"... when all the articles clearly stated they would either resod the field, move the game to LA, or delay the game a week since both teams are on a bye next week.
3) and despite the NFLs contingency plan of moving a game back to a teams home field when the international stadium is not available. - We still have people talking about what a disaster
They got it right... It certainly looks like the avoided a disaster and the Rams get to really play at home now...which is the edge they may need
