Well, it better be before Monday, otherwise a new turf after the fact doesn't do us a whole lot of good. How long does it take to lay a whole new field and have it ready for a game?

Laying new sod is one thing. That’s doable.

But having the sod “set” is quite another. Might look pretty on TV, but it will still be unsafe after those behemoths have played a quarter on it.
