There are soooooooooo many rules the NFL has added in recent years. Players gripe about them but I have always said when former players started bringing in Attorneys against the NFL for bumps / bruises and memory loss, the NFL responded. Well, here we are. Games are flag fests! In defense of the Refs, they have to watch an awful lot while trying not to get creamed by a LBer, and it is happening VERY VERY fast. Remember, us fans have a elevated / multi angled TV view. Refs are at ground level with 6'6" 350lb trees in their way. About a month and a half ago, I was at the LSU / Gators game and we sat in the endzone just a few rows from the field. For a play or two, I observed what the Ref behind the QB saw. I couldn't do that job.
