McVay is such a relationship guy that one can only imagine how much this week has stressed him to the max.
I don't know if the shootings and fires raised the emotional level of the players such that they lost their cool at times; but I suspect it had something to do with it.
Doesn't matter. The Rams won. The decision was correct to cancel all team activities on Friday, and one can imagine that all the talk in practices, meetings, and the locker room was the tragedies and not as much football.
It's tough to win the NFL. Even tougher with the kinds of distractions they have faced over the past few days.
