Spitballing here, but on the edge does this combo make the most sense from an athletic standpoint to apply pressure or are we needing more of a cerebral approach? Not to say that any of these of edge rushers don't give us the 'do your job cerebral' approach, but Longacre, and the current rooks that have been in the system longest didn't work so hence the trade?
Obviously the staff is sensing a major need on the edge, hence the trade. Longacre to me is JAG. Not a lot of upside. Ogbo / Ek / Fowler tremendous athletic upsided.
