Sean McVay has everything going for him right now. He became the youngest head coach in NFL history last year at age 30, winning the Coach of the Year award in his first season. His Rams are currently 8-0, and looking like serious Super Bowl contenders.
So, it sounds like the perfect time to jump to the most inept franchise in sports, right?
Well, Vegas thinks so. McVay currently has the highest odds out of anybody to be the Cleveland Browns' next full-time coach:
This comes in the wake of the Browns finally pulling the plug on the Hue Jackson experiment, after a miserable 2.5 years and a paltry 4.5 wins.
To be fair, there are reasons that McVay would make sense as the Browns head coach. He's from Dayton, Ohio. He went to the University of Miami of Ohio, which is known as one of the best coaching schools in the country. The only problem? The Rams gig is a pretty sweet one.
There's always the possibility that McVay will pull a Gary Kubiak and leave a good situation for his dream job, but if you're asking me, I'd rather put money on Belichick leaving New England than McVay for that job.
