The answer to that is simple. He never had the team around him, including the defense, and including the offensive scheme, to fully maximize what he does. Brady himself has said that if Rodgers were in NE with NE's offensive scheme, sky would be the limit.
Marino has no ring let alone just one. Same with Fouts. If that's your only criteria then those 2 sukked according to you.
Rodgers has earned his praise and none of it is out of line. It's okay to accept that there are some non-Rams who get rightfully praised.
