Patrick Peterson is trying to get traded from the Cardinals, some have suggested that the Rams should go after him, I thought what should we give up? Then I thought maybe Marcus Peters. First off I don't have any ill will towards Peters, loved seeing him wearing the horns after the 9ers game. He has gotten toasted a few times, but all in all he has been fine. The only reason I would suggest it is, Peterson would be an upgrade regardless of familiarity in the system. Peterson is under contract for what 2 years, and we have control of Peters for this year and next. Would the Cardinals be interested in trading a Pro Bowl CB for a Pro Bowl CB (though admittedly a CB on a different tier)? Maybe throw in a 6th rounder for sweetener. Now I know the Rams weren't on the preferred list, but who would balk at going to the undefeated Rams. Now Peters wouldn't like it but I am just talking about upgrading the roster. There are bigger trade deadline needs but this is a player on a hof track that is trying to be moved it would be malpractice not to kick the tires.
