First, I don't think the Cards would ever consider trading with the Rams because if the Rams want the deal then clearly the Rams think it would improve them.
Second, Peterson's cap money is big this year.
Third, the Cards would take on some sizeable dead cap money.
Fourth, Peterson is 3 or 4 years older than Peters.
Hard to imagine such a thing.
