I watched Chiefs at Broncos with great interest a few weeks ago.
The Broncos were actually leading for much of that game.
They had leads of 3-0, 13-10 (at halftime), 20-13, and 23-13 before late game heroics by Mahomes resulted in a 14-0 4th Q by the Chiefs.
Conversely, the Rams were in control of the Broncos all the way, until a late Bronco score made it look closer than it was.
Although the final margin of victory was very much the same, the eyeballs would tell any objective viewer that Denver matched up much better against the Chiefs than they did against the Rams.
Really, Denver was better than Kansas City except at the QB position.
Now, you might say, well if Mahomes makes the Chiefs great, then they're great!
But the Rams have a better roster than the Chiefs, top to bottom, and eventually that comes to the fore.
Mahomes is entertaining and fascinating to watch, but I don't think he can drag them to the finish line of the season by himself.
And I think it will show when the Rams play them.
So says an average Ram fan!
