I have expectations because this kids was exceptional as a Sooner
In fact, I had a Sooner fan stop me Friday at the office, and he was super charged to see the kid play for us.
I'll readily admit: I have high hopes that he can make splash plays for us. No, I don't see him as "fill" linebacker. However, this one can and has made a mess of plays as collegiate player.
On another note, I'd like to see some snaps come for Kiser this season. I like his mass, and in regards today they use a fullback. Perhaps I'm just looking for more girth inside. I'd prefer not to see Mark Barron have to shed blocks and fill all afternoon. Visions of Joyner and Johnson leading the team in tackles probably is more truth than fiction.
