....I believe this upcoming game becomes 'their' super bowl. As I mentioned before..., it seems to me that the niners get more UP for our rivalry match up than the Rams do. The always play harder against us, and especially in their house. This Sunday will be no different. If the Rams look passed them... even a little..., they will lose their first game of the 2018 season to a 1-5 division rival.
I cannot see McVay allowing that to happen.
McVay "must" keep our team focused on how this game means just as much as any other interdivision game.... as well as grabbing this rivalry by the throat.
If this is to be a new era for the Rams... it starts with a dominance over our immediate rivals in the NFC west. I don't mean blow out victories... I just mean Victories.
The Niners will play us harder than they did Green Bay.... the Rams had better be ready.
GO LOS ANGELES RAMS !!!
Not to mention the last many years. Misery was only two years ago; I don't think the players' memories are THAT short, not least since a great many of them were here just two years ago.
Winning notwithstanding, I also think it's obvious to players that they could be better, especially defensively.
And it's a division game and it's the NINERS.
The Rams might lose. But I think there's very little chance they lose because they take the Niners (or any else) lightly.
