That's just it. It happens. The current Indianapolis Colt's doctor looked at my daughter's knee and did all the physical tests and everything seemed fine. It was only after the MRI that you truly know the extent of the injury. I played an entire year of football with a torn acl back in the mid 1980's. All I did was wear a Lennix Hill brace and went out and played. The brace slowed me down but at least I could play still. It wasn't for another 10 years when Dr. Shelbourne (Previous Colt's and Purdue University's main doctor) was looking at my other knee (popped the ligament playing basketball) that he said that both my acl's were torn. So I had both acls fixed at the same time. This is when I met Flipper Anderson who was having work done at the same place (he was on the Colts at this time but I let him know I was a Ram fan).
