Hop, Hop, Hop.....No quick back peddle......Eyes are almost always on the QB, then he stops any backward movement and WR eats up cushion immediately.
He would be better off on the LOS and play bump and run all day. When he's 8-10 yds off, there's nothing right, he's all over the place.
IMHO......You tell him play the WR...........STOP LOOKING AT THE QB!!!!....Look at the WR, he will take you to the ball.....
