Phillips is going too much of a free pass. I know the team and McVay like to joke about him....donuts...going to bed at 6:00 pm. But let's face it. This defense has never been able to stop the run ever since Wade has been here. Last year we got drunk on sacks.....so we just let it go.
This year....the run defense is non existent.....they aren't getting any pass rush (because they figured they had tight-coverage DB's). Peters was a complete meltdown last Sunday. Yes....he needs to get right....and that's on him.
But....Wade also needs to be accountable for this.....all of it. He needs to fix it.
