Many thought (hoped?) the Niners would be world beaters this season. Right. Just wishful thinking for a bunch of Niners and Jimmy G lovers in the sports media .
Game won't be close imo. Hawks have replaced Niners as the Rams rival in the NFC West and it will remain that way for as long as Wilson plays because Jimmy G is so overrated. And for now, as the Rams have proved, they really have no one to challenge them in our division. 3 game lead after 5 games played? Wow. The only way that changes is if the Rams start losing within our division. Not likely unless Rams begin sustaining massive injuries to key players. Even the loss of Cooks and Kupp for the crucial 2nd half in hostile Seattle couldn't keep the Rams from moving the ball, scoring, and winning.
