I'm not so negative on the Rams' D. I do agree the run D was not as strong as needed, but they weren't horrible. I watched the Seattle Dallas game and Seattle demonstrated they have a very strong running game. They were just sloppy in that game.
They weren't sloppy in this game; they came to play. Having watched the replay the game struck me as two heavyweight boxers going shot for shot. Someone commented that Seattle played mean. They did. They were focused and ready for war. I am sure they were motivated by the embarrassment from last year.
This game was not only about talent, it was a divisonal dog fight. In spite of all of that, Seattle's strength of Wilson and running the ball, home field advantage, plus bad officiating, and injuries, we managed to beat them.
Dang 43, its a cold day in hell when I am more optimistic than you!
