I always thought the piling on with Goff was ridiculous... and I preferred Wentz
I remember in the summer of 17 having a conversation on air with Solomon Wilcox of NFL Radio. He had been dogging Goff saying McVay couldn't help Goff. I challenged him strongly saying it was way too early to draw that kind of conclusion after the guy had only played 7 games and under Jeff Fisher
He asked me to name another QB that started so poorly. I gave him Eli Manning who was statistically worse than Goff and also lost all 7 of his starts after the Giants benched Warner. I then asked him to name a QB who had recently flourished in a Jeff Fisher offense... he chimed in and said Steve McNair and then they hung up on me.
In any case Riddick should be calling people out... he's absolutely right. Stop being so quick to call people busts or say this QBs or that QB sucks before there is a large enough sample size to judge them on.
