I became a Rams fan when I grew up in northern Indiana in 1969, 9 years old. I always dreamed of seeing the Rams play in the Coliseum. I did get to see them live, once, in 1977 when they played the Bears in Soldier Field on MNF, losing by one point in Joe Namath's last game. Then when they moved to St. Louis, that was only a 6 hour drive from me, and I thought that was great,so I went to about 4 or 5 games at the Dome. Then I moved to Albuquerque in 2003 and saw them twice in Phoenix. But now LA is definitely closer so I hope to make the trek to LA and Phoenix more often. I understand the pain. I remember speaking with Signman124 at his pregame gig before the Cleveland game that last season, and he was obviously in pain.
Signman and his family rid themselves of all things Rams. RAMbeau won't even discuss the Rams or watch Rams games so watching the games by myself is not as much fun as it used to be. A lot of folks whom I liked and got to know just flat disappeared from the Herd. It certainly affected the dynamics around here. I miss my Sunday gameday friends at the Dome. Things are very different these days. Just how it is.
