Are we trying too hard to justify lack of sacks?

It's not a big problem right now, but down the road it might be. For all the rationalizing it's definitely an issue - like run defense was last year. We can 'yeah-but' it all we want, however I have noticed a lack of pressure from the outside in every game and with teams looking to get the ball out quick it might come back to bite us at the end of a close game.

You need edge pressure to get QB's to step up into Donald and Suh so they get the sacks. Right now, I'm just not seeing that.
