Here's the real deal on sacks this year (so far)...

Teams with double digit sacks....Dallas 11, Indy 10, Chic 14, Pitts 11, Det 10, Miami 10.......Now really would you like any of those teams for any reason...if sacks mean this much these are the teams leading the pack...

Sacks are nice they add emphasis, but so do good tackles, hard hits, tipped balls, and major pressure..To me a better percentage of 3 and outs more than covers sacks in importance.

We'll get sacks as the season goes on everyone does....IMO now a days with how they deem sacks vs. penalty.....right now I'll go for pressures, tipped balls, fumbles, INT's over sacks....IMO right now sacks can just too easily be taken away and replaced with a flag and a 1st down....Not saying I don't want sacks, but really...I am not into getting kinda greedy with individual stats to show our real abilities...Good Tackling, Hard Hitting, Gap Attentive....over the sack stat.....

Are we trying too hard to justify lack of sacks?
