I'm not there yet.... I think the roughing the passer issue just requires tweaking. I believe we'll eventually have to settle for far less than perfect... which may be where we're at now.
The roughing the passer I think actually SHOULD be more judgement than trying to spell out precisely where elbow placement should be, or % of weight when hitting the ground.
I'm not opposed to judgement calls that 'sometime' may be debatable.. but strict adherence to some complex list of 'qualifiers' which NO one will ever see the same I think is asking the impossible. - JamesJM
