Steve
This offense is like 1983 Redskins and 1992 Dallas---can control with accurate passing game, and good running game.
By the end of the year, we will all know this offense is as good or better than Mach I in 2001.
They still haven't played a full game at full focus. Goff played his best game against some good DBs.
Kupp>Hakim
Cooks= Holt (ok, maybe not yet)
Woods< Bruce
Goff by 2019>Warner
Gurley=Faulk
Higbee=to whomever (Conwell, Robinson, Williams et al)
Sure, I am probably wrong, but I will say it is true. Warner was great, but look at the tape, and you will see Goff isn't far behind
Some bold statements there, Steve.
I might add that this OL compares nicely to those GSOT units, too.
There are 3 controversial comparisons that you made:
Cooks vs Holt
Goff vs Warner
Gurley vs Faulk
Warner and Faulk are already in the HOF, and Holt probably should be joining them soon. So, that’s a formidably high bar you set for today’s players.
But, you know what? I think the current players are close behind. I sure wouldn’t want to live on the difference. Lol.
