Wilks had only been DC for one year with the Panthers, so there is that issue too. Quite frankly, he reminds me of Steve Spagnuolo the way the Cardinals are playing. I knew this team was in trouble, some had posted otherwise, but the signing of Bradford was a huge gaffe and their offensive line is in a state of flux, plus the OC Mike McCoy, once a hot ticket has lost his mojo. Josh Rosen is an upgrade over Bradford and I expect they will cut Bradford after a couple of weeks because they save some money.
You had a recipe for disaster for Arizona starting with an uninspiring hire, followed by their GM Steve Keim being suspended for DWI and then signing Bradford. I never liked Bruce Arians, but he was a good football coach, Wilks will be gone after two years IMHO and then they will hire an offensive coach to cultivate Rosen,
