I have expressed a lot of confidence and optimism on this board this year regarding our Rams. What I probably have not said is:
I think we've arrived. That isn't to say we can't be better... and in truth I think the potential ceiling for this team is quite a bit higher than what we've seen thus far.
Hard to add all the 'clues' up... not all of them jump off a stat sheet and hit ya....but I'm not referring to 'intuition' here. Much higher %'s of success in given situations. IMHO a much more expansive set of play calling both O and D. "Confidence" CAN be visible... we're seeing it. I could go on and on but MOST impressive to me, I believe, is never.... and I mean NEVER, allowing a bad play, opponent score, turnover, to linger any longer than the sound the whistle makes killing the play.
There will be stumbles along the way... there always are.... but probably what I'm 'doubting' the least with this year's team is their ability to roll with the punches then counter punch "effectively". And the applies individual plays, quarters, halves... and I believe games.
