I know some folks are thinking they are going to be ticked and ready to bring it on Thursday because they fell for a trap game. Actually, I think the short week here works in our favor. They won't be able to prepare for us as much and if they try to play on negative emotion they're going to commit a bunch of penalties. If they're desperate on a short week with less preparation they're going to end up overcommitting on some things, either leaving guys on our O wide open or giving our D a chance to force turnovers.
I think their bad loss to Buffalo was the best thing that could happen for us before they play us on a short week.
One caveat: maybe part of the reason they messed up so bad yesterday was that they only spent half a week preparing for Buffalo and the rest looking ahead to us. That could blow up my theory. Not sure.
