That's misinformation mama from espn (as usual)....the Rams have capped seating (starting last year) to 68,000 for regular season due to the congestion and issues they had in 2016 when the crowds were 80-90 thousand for those first few games...it was a mess.
So when 65,000 show up to a 90,000 seat stadium it looks bad in TV....there's nothing that is going to change that unless they tarp off sections and try to cram everyone in.
There was plenty of fans there yesterday ...it was awesome.
