That the Raider thing was a reason and then the injuries to his two tackles vs Texans the next week was a domino effect as to who would play.
I don't think it was in the initial plans to hold everyone out of preseason, it just kinda happened that way.
Thank god they won, cuz I wasn't looking forward to the nonstop complaining about McVay resting his starters.
I love how Goff answered the question in the interview on the field right after the game when asked about being rusty from not playing in preseason.
It was quick and very dismissive-"No not at all"
