there was nothing in Goff's game, with the misses, to indicate he's not well on his way to maturing and becoming the QB we've all been wising for for some time.
The board demeanor, IMHO, has been good... perhaps great. Mistakes... perhaps some rust... but all taken into account and 'fairly' brought up on the board and discussed. No different than the first team meeting went, I'm sure. "Ok guys, here's what we did well, here's where we need to improve".
Also after all is said and done... I don't think the Coaches were a bit surprised by anything that occurred in that first game; knowing well where they might be weaker.
It was a good start, a damned good start. Now comes the staying consistent test... and even THAT I think they exhibited prowess in Monday night. - JamesJM
