I did not participate. My grandson, a WR, drew a PI call Saturday... a flagrant one... he had beaten his man so the defender reached out and grabbed his jersey and stretched it to the tearing point... easy call. So some fans I was sitting with began talking about this... and I think someone of this board brought it up as well...
Should a receiver get credit for the yds when that occurs?
Personally I don't think so.. that's a judgement call that's too hard to make. But I'd bet anything that scouts and coaches take that into account when grading WR's. - JamesJM
