I never saw greatness in Bradford. I saw a very talented, capable, QB who could have a long career in the NFL.. and that's well above average.

I also 'personally' liked Bradford more than any QB the Ram's have had since Warner... and more than nearly all QB's in the league. I rooted for this guy with all my heart... and I do NOT blame him for the injuries... that just happens... "I was In the path of the tornado". Being 'injury prone' is something I take with a healthy dose of salt... meaning, I don't think it holds water for the most part.

But like Austin, Fletcher, Bly, Watkins.... I take no pleasure in them 'failing'... but that said, I wouldn't take pleasure in them excelling either.. on a football level that is. They aren't RAMS.

Bradford was a Rams qb and controversial so a lot of strong feelings come up. I think he was a good qb in bad circumstances (especially in 2011 and 2012) but he attracts a lot of animosity. Just saying neutrally the obvious fact that he has played well before attracts all sorts of heat and controversy. It should just be an obvious neutral comment.

On the other hand there just are no Bradford junkies the way there might be Warner junkies or etc. but there is enough Bradford animosity so that saying anything positive about him attracts all sorts of rebukes and has to be justified or defended. But the detractors have more passion than the defenders. Which to me is weird but whatever. It's obvious that he was taken out by his long and repeated injury situation.

In terms of former Rams, I do pay attention to some. I did with Warner and Keenum too. It's just a natural curiosity and interest and I regard it as no big deal. There are others like Chris Long who I sort of keep tabs on, because he was a good guy and deserved better than he got with the Rams. It's nice to see when those guys thrive...just not against the Rams.
