This negotiation is over, but our Rams have many more in the near future. Peters, Joyner, Goff. Since there's a salary cap you can't do what the mid Niners team did and just outpsy the competition. I was against the AD resigning especially at these crazy figures. I hope he plays up to and beyond the contract. When there's so many working poor people it's a shame when athletes say they feel insulted by multi million dollar contracts. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks 20 million dollars for eight hours of work is insane.
People who sit down and do the numbers do not paint the Rams as being in cap trouble.
Goff will go on the books in 2021. (If there's a season, but nevermind that for now).
By 2021 they can have Goff, Donald, Cooks, Gurley, and Peters under contract with room for 2-3 more big contract guys.
It will be good, it will be fine, they planned for this, they have the space.
And I don't really listen to lectures about what players should think about money. If we were worth what top NFL players are worth we would take our fair value too.
