is the belief and ABILITY to actually develop players from the low ranks of college all the way through the seasoned Pro Bowlers.
In the past basically I felt our staff looked for talent more so to just use it up then to take that talent to another level ( IMO because they couldn't...either out of touch, or just not good teachers) . Take a guy like Tavon and just use him as he was used in college, I don't know for sure but it just did not seem he was actually schooled in route running much less a route tree.... other areas seemed to be in the same boat too many times for it to be a non coincidence.
Now you have guys like Peters, Talib coming here already at the top of their game but Pleasant is out there TEACHING them new principles in the art. It goes across all areas....
Kromer is a Pleasant, Wade is a McVay, McVay is a Wade....etc....they have the same way of thinking and getting things across...not only to the players but the way to run the entire team as if it was a single minded entity.....IMO a very rare thing to see in a big organization...
I guess the true measure will be when we start winning Divisions, and going to Championships on a basis....start losing some of this staff, but roll on finding coaches with that same ability....(Staying in house would be neat....Where the Position Coaches and Coordinators not only work with the players but those assistants under them to succeed them....that would be cool as S%^T)
