I have entered every season since I've been a Ram fan 'optimistic'. But there are levels of 'optimistic'. Some years, many of the last several, my optimism was that the coming season would be a 'turn around' year... and the gears would begin to fall into place.

I don't think I've ever been 'optimistic' at the level of thinking anything short of a SB victory was failure.

Here's how I describe my optimism this year... The Ram's should and I believe ARE able to compete with any other NFL team.... the 'elites', whomever they be, I no longer see as teams we have to get lucky to beat.. or even need to play our A+ game. The Ram's can beat them straight up. - JamesJM
