Well, it's a name not a description. Think of what your first name means. (Mine means "brave king." ) Is it a description? Names don't work like descriptions.
In fact many rookie contracts stipulate that the player does not get the bonus until after the season. He gets the bonus FOR signing. Not necessarily WHEN he signs.
