not necessarily by McVay, for sticking with player X, when player Y (who many fans want) becomes available is: "Player X knows our system. We're comfortable with player X. He just needs more...blah, blah, blah".
So while I am firmly in the camp that wants them to scour the waiver or trade wire for a backup QB and another TE, I'm not sure we're going to get what we want.
