....when teams (especially the Rams) clearly show these games do not mean a lot and we do not see the starting offense for even one series, it causes me (and a lot of fans) to think, why watch?

It is for most teams an exercise in putting young players in football position and seeing how they perform. Very little game planning. It is so vanilla and most of the guys playing will not make the team or really contribute, why watch?
