But I don't agree with your test. Quality, starter-caliber players often get lit up by superstars. That doesn't mean they aren't solid 90% of the time. Superstars are so-defined by making good players look bad.
Also, he has faced some good talent so far. And he has looked consistently good in a large sample size against many players. It's hard for me to think he might be a bust in light of all that.
In the end, though, none of this is really the point of the post. If he can play solid LOT for the price we've paid for him, it's a huge coup that will open up all sorts of opportunities.
