It would be ideal if he can become their future LT of course. They either need that to happen or use their 2019 1st or other pick (trade up with two of the 3rds?) to nab one.

What is clear is that cap wise they cannot go pay a major free agent at LT to succeed Whitworth. Cannot happen. Hopefully Noteboom develops into what he has potential to become. Maybe he is their RG in 2019. Who knows yet. Looks like he will be one of their game day actives to start this season which is a positive step. He seems to have the smarts, feet and work ethic to play which are three pretty big check marks.
