My point is that these young adults from the inner cities are not going to play any harder because a @#$%& like Williams is yelling at them. I grew up in south central L.A. and played ball at Dorsey H.S. These inner city kids have been yelled and screamed at their entire life-whether by parent(s), siblings, cops, gang members, etc. By the time they are picked to play professional football they've heard it all and what impacts their success is what's inside of them or what's not. For most of them no amount of yelling and putting them down will make a difference. That's just old news to them. I grew up with them.
You went to Dorsey? I have two good friends who graduated from Dorsey. They both went to college, one of them to USC. I went to Crenshaw, then went to college and graduated with a degree in architecture.
