In Easley's case, I think he's a lock. They already know what he can do. Barron hasn't practiced either and no one is saying he's on the bubble.

I think they were just reaching for big names because they didn't mention any real bubble players like Trevon Young, Trevon Howard, Tanzel Smart, Hemingway???, etc.
