1) Preseason Game 1 - The Rams have to play the Raiders in game 1 and don't want to show anything.
2) Preseason Game 2 - The Rams have to play the Raiders in game 1 and don't want to show anything.
3) Preseason Game 3 - The Rams have to play the Raiders in game 1 and don't want to show anything.
4) Preseason Game 4 - The Rams have to play the Raiders in game 1 and don't want to show anything.

I hope McVay is reading the tea leaves right on this by protecting his players from injury.

Just keep this in mind...

1) The CBA limits the amount of "live" practice they experience.
2) They can just as easily get hurt in practice.
3) Players bodies need to be in "hitting" shape. Practice hitting isn't like game time hitting.

My hope is that the starters get at least two quarters this week.

Vince Lombardi has to be rolling over in his grave!

In any case, we'll see how this team comes out of the game against the Raiders. Hopefully fast...like last year against the Colts. I think that game set the tone for the season.
