Like in the old days?
Cuts should occur after PS games 2, 3, then the final cuts after game 4. The “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” philosophy?
Better for players, coaches, and fans.
Why clutter up a roster needlessly for an extra 2 weeks with players that don’t have a prayer of making it? And making TV broadcast it? And making fans watch it?
And it’s not about making more money, either. Revenue would be the same, if not greater, when a higher quality product is on the field for ticket buying fans in the stands and viewers watching their TV’s.
Anything that improves the PS product is a positive thing, don’t you think?
We shouldn’t overthink this.
