I like the intention of the new helmet rule but like most everyone else thinks, they crapped the bed on this..
This rule should've only been applied to obvious black and white helmet spearing and wicked hits involving the crown of the helmet against a defenseless player that doesn't first or simultaneously lower his head at the point of contact.
Don't drag this on NFL...
Exactly how I feel. That hit today was not spearing or leading with the head. Good shoulder hit is all I saw.
