Like any other subjective rule, how do you do this fairly? Are the refs going to throw flags on every time a helmet gets in on the tacklet hat's every play, you
can't tackle without your head being right in the way)? Will they become gun shy when the booing and players screaming in their faces for flagging them but
failing to flag a play against the other team? And also how long before they just stop when the game ,if replay is used, goes to 4,4.5 hours long?
You cannot tackle without your helmet being the first thing hitting the player most of the time. At least half of the flags so far have been horrible calls in my opinion.
All for flagging guys using the crown of their helmets to deliver kill shots but with the positioning of the target and tackler changing at such speeds it will
be a nightmare to officiate and bad calls will cost teams games.
