Just heard Allbright say a few things.
Kroenke is involved in Donald contract.
Big issue is Donald is not a best fit for what Wade does. He’d rather have Mack, but the Rams will never say that publicly.
Donald has a price point and won’t play until he gets it.
Rams have one too based in part on how they value the position. Wade values the edge rusher more than 5 tech.
Donald is worth 25M, but he most likely isn’t getting it from Rams. (Ben didn’t say 25M was ADs price point, just that Rams aren’t paying that much)
Both sides have reasonable arguments. Neither side is wrong.
Me: I got the feeling that if Rams could swap Donald for Mack they’d do it and pay him more than they’re offering Donald.
